1. Aero Shake
Introduced in Windows 7, it is one of the great and underrated features that you can use to deal with a cluttered desktop. All you need to do is drag the title bar of an application and shake it back and forth. This will minimize the other windows and let you focus on what you’re working on.
2. Creating Calendar Events From Desktop
If you want to set reminders for events, there is an easy way to do it while staying on the Desktop. All you need to do is click on the “date and time” in the taskbar and add the remainder. Additionally, you can also add the location, which is excellent if you’re good at forgetting stuff.
3. Snip and Sketch
There is an option to take screenshots on Windows (Windows key + PrtSc) but, what makes Snip and Sketch special is the option to edit and customize the screenshots as soon as they’re taken.

5. Dictation
Dictation has been present in Windows since good old Windows Vista days, and it has improved quite a bit. All you need to do to start dictating is press the Windows +H keys. It is still not that consistent when it comes to word detection but it is rather nice to have.
6. Cloud Clipboard
This feature lets you copy stuff on one computer and access it on another computer assuming you have the same Microsoft account in both the PCs.
Pressing Windows + V will show you the copied contents, and you can also delete stuff that you no longer need. This is a nice feature if you work in an office and if your colleague wants to paste the thing that you just copied.
7. Windows Gamebar
Pressing the Windows + G will open the Windows Gamebar. It includes some nifty features like a Screen Recorder, Screen Capture, and “Performance” which displays the amount of RAM, and Processor being used. 8. Protecting Your Folders Using The Windows Defender
Ransomware is the nastiest thing that you can get from the internet. It encrypts the files on your computer and doesn’t leave until you pay. Microsoft has included Windows Defender which can protect you from ransomware.
All you need to do is go to Windows Security –> Virus and Threat Protection –> Scroll down to find “Manage Ransomeware Protection” and enable Controlled Folder Access. You can also choose folders that you want to protect.
9. Storage Sense

Luckily, there is a feature which you can find by going to Settings –> System –> Storage –> Turn Storage Sense on. Enabling it will automatically delete the useless files from the temporary files folder, Recycle Bin, and fro, the Download Folder.
