Apple has announced the dates and ticket application process for the WWDC 2018. This annual apple event mainly focuses on the updated features of the latest iOS, updates to macOS and WatchOS. It mainly focuses on the developer’s perspective on iOS.
Many times Apple has introduced new hardware devices at WWDC including HomePod. So chances are Apple might introduce the much-awaited iPhone SE 2. Here’s everything we know so far.
The recent iPhone SE 2 renders with an iPhone X-like bezel-less and notch display. Today, in a leak what appears to be the screen protector of the SE 2 has surfaced online sitting next to the iPhone X.

Apple uses the notch area to accommodate the front camera and Face ID, it might be safe to assume that the iPhone SE 2 might also feature the Face ID unlocking system bidding farewell to TouchID.

It is pretty clear that, if Apple includes Face ID on SE 2, they will definitely hike up the price as well. An alleged contract of Geskin surfaced online that gives away the design of the phone in its full glory. The popular leakster Geskin leaked render of the SE 2 perfectly matches with the surfaced screen protector.
iPhone SE 2 Leaked Video: Explained
The leaked video that went viral suggests that SE 2 will have a somewhat iPhone 5 like ergonomics coupled with an iPhone X like display and notch. Some leaks even suggest that the device will incorporate a dual camera vertical setup as well.
It is worth noting that, Unlike the iPhone SE, the SE 2 will no longer be the cheapest iPhone that Apple offers. Apple might remove the 3.5mm headphone jack from the SE 2 as well. The iPhone SE2 might even have support for wireless charging. Apple might unveil the device at WWDC on 4th June.
The older iPhone SE inherited most of the specifications from the Apple flagship iPhone 6S. If Apple adopts the same algorithm the SE 2 might come with an A11 Bionic chipset.
Well, if we rely on leaks the SE 2 might come with an Apple A10 Fusion SoC, coupled with 2GB of LPDDRX RAM, which can easily provide a fluid iOS experience.
As of now, there is no reliable source that clearly specifies the price or specification of iPhone SE 2. Do you think that these leaks would end up being the iPhone that you want? Let us know in the comment section below.
