Vivo X70 Pro With Dimensity 1200, Quad Rear Cameras with ZEISS Optics Surfaced Online

Rumours and leaks started to pop up about the successor of the Vivo X60 series – the Vivo X70 Pro. En routing towards the official release, we now have CAD-based render for a much better outlook of the smartphone, props to ONLeaks.

Vivo X70 Pro: The Sucessor to Vivo X60

The credible leak suggests that the Vivo X70 series will bring in three smartphones in the lineup- Vivo X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro+. The series is expected to boast a 120Hz refresh rate 6.5-inch punch-hole AMOLED display. Earlier, the Geekbench listing revealed that the model V2105 (allegedly Vivo X70 Pro) will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with (up to) 12GB of RAM.

In fact, both Vivo X70 and the X70 Pro are said to be powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC. However, the top variant X70 Pro+ is speculated to be driven by the latest Snapdragon 888+ Mobile Platform, backed by Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

The CAD render revealed the phone’s measure which is said to be 160.4 x 75.5 x 7.7~10mm. Other than that, we got the details about the placement of the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone and SIM card slot at the bottom.

On the camera front, the smartphones are said to feature (more or less) a quad rear camera setup with ZEISS optics and triple LED flash. Earlier rumours said that the phone will come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, and 44W fast charging, while the X70 Pro+ is rumoured to support 66W charging.

Vivo X70 Pro: Release Date & Pricing

We don’t have any official updates about the launch dates. However, if rumours have to be believed the Vivo X70 series is expected to be announced sometime in September. We expect the dates to be revealed soon. We will keep you posted.
