YouTube Adds In-App Messaging Feature For Chat And Video Sharing

Google has just announced YouTube‘s new features which include messaging feature and sharing videos within the app. YouTube adds an in-app messaging feature which has been in testing for over a year.

YouTube Adds Messaging & Video Sharing Feature

This features will give YouTube users the flexibility to share videos and chat with their contacts directly from within the app. Apart from sharing and receive videos in the app, users can now chat, react with emojis, about the videos they shared and can even invite others to the conversation and more.

YouTube says that the feature is aimed to “make sharing easier, faster and more fun on your phone”. In addition to that, it has also introduced a new ‘Shared’ tab at the bottom of the app, which allows you to keep track of your conversations. Do note, this new feature is only available on mobile devices.

These features will be quite useful as it gives a dedicated space to share video or even YouTube links and talk about it later on. What do you guys think? Let us know about it.
