Last Date For Subscribing To Jio Prime Membership Might Extend Till April 30; Report

Reliance Jio Prime membership registration deadline might extend as the company did not get the expected results with around 22-27 million users converted for the program. Reliance Jio has announced its Prime membership program a month ago.

Though the Reliance Jio Prime membership just cost Rs 99/year, Of its over 100 million customers, our information from insiders as well as industry sources estimate, Jio has garnered around 22-27 million users as its Prime customers with just a week’s time left for the scheme to end.

Jio Prime Membership Last Date Extension

After the Jio Prime membership was made open i.e on March 1, the company witness the warm response from the users, this is one of the biggest reason, which is prompting Reliance Jio to extend the Jio Prime membership deadline beyond March 31st.

After looking at the response, the company has started subsidizing the membership. A week back Mobikwik offered Rs 50 as cashback, well looking at the results, the operator is now offering Rs 100 cashback, if made it through JioMoney with a recharge of Rs 303.

Company’s Source To TeleAnalysis Said;

 It may get another months extension, may be till April 30, But, nothing has been finalised yet, the company has achieved 50% of its target of Jio Prime numbers.

However, the source didn’t confirm the target number or the achieved number. Jio Prime membership is just a one-time registration for Rs 99, offers all the services provided by the company during ‘Welcome Offer’ and ‘Happy New Year Offer’. The Jio Prime offer includes free (incoming and outgoing calls), 1GB of 4G data per day and other related services.
