Xiaomi has launched a couple of smartphones like Xiaomi Mi 5C, Xiaomi Redmi 4X and also revealed its in-house processor named ‘Surge S1’, in MWC 2017. Xiaomi Mi 6 will be the next flagship from the company but before that, the Chinese company is expected to release a new Redmi series smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 at the end of this month.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2
Redmi Pro (launched last year) was Xiaomi’s first smartphone to come with a dual lens camera setup and Redmi Pro 2 is speculated to come with same camera configuration. It is expected to powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC or MediaTek Helio P25.
The smartphone will have two RAM variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage and other with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The leaked camera configuration shows that it will sport a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 single sensor at the rear. If the Redmi Pro 2 comes with MediaTek Helio P25, it will have enhanced support for dual camera and 12x ISP.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage version is said to priced at 1599 Yuan (Rs 15,400 / US$231), while 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage comes in at 1799 Yuan (Rs 17400 / US$260). Not to forget all the pieces of information are from leaks, rumors, and highly anticipated speculations, so, take all this information with a pinch of salt.
