Google Play Store Is Testing Refresh Button For App Updates: Report

Google Play Store is reportedly been testing the new refresh button for the app updates. This update will bring a refresh button to my apps section, an extremely useful feature which was earlier overlooked.

This is feature is reported to come with a new (updated) Play Store UI, which will bring a lot of new features and there is a change in the UI, which is pretty obvious.

New Refresh Button On Google Play Store

Previously (till now, until the updates makes it), updating can only be done until the app pushes the update notification or if you go to “My Apps” in Play Store but now with the new/latest update, you’ll find a refresh button to manually look for updates.

The best part is that it only appears if you don’t already have updates available. Though it is an effective and convenient way but Play Store could have added a pull-to-refresh option as well.

There is also a change in UI (User Interface), which apparently looks good and Google has kept it really simple, probably because of Android’s wider reach (used by different age groups).
