Uber Standalone App Finally Made It To Android Wear 2.0: Features!

Uber Standalone finally made it Android Wear 2.0. Back in 2015, Uber announced that its app would be available for Android Wear. Well, it took them almost 2 years to make into Android Wear. Uber is all set to work on your wrist.

You can now book a Uber ride directly from your wrist provided that you have an Android Wear 2.0 powered smartwatch. Much like any standalone alone apps, you can work on your wrist without using a smartphone.

The best part of the app is that you can now book a ride, check driver’s progress, choose bookmarked destinations, compare prices, estimated time of arrival and even see your own progress to the destination in real-time all from your smartwatch. However, you need a smartwatch running Android Wear 2.0.

Uber competitors like Lyft and Ola doesn’t have an Android Wear 2.0 app yet. So, if you have a smartwatch and want to book a ride, Uber is your only choice.
