realme launched its first laptop in India. The smartphone company’s debut laptop is named realme Book Slim. As the name goes, the Book Slim features a featured-packed slim design featuring 5.3mm Super Narrow bezels for an immersive visual experience. The laptop is just 14.9 millimeters thick, weighs 1.38 kilograms, and comes with an all-metallic body.
realme Book Slim: A RedmiBook Contender?
Walking through the paved way of Xiaomi, realme’s Book Slim stands straight against Xiaomi’s RedmiBook. Realme’s Book Slim features a 3:2 aspect ratio 14-inch 2K IPS screen with 400nits brightness and a 100% RGB high color gamut. The 2K display is powered by a Core i3 / i5 11th Generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor with Intel UHD or Iris Xe graphics, dual-fan storm cooling System, paired with 8GB of RAM, and coupled with (up to) 512GB of NVMe SSD.
The realme (Slim Book) Book Slim features 3-level Backlit Keyboard with a 1.3mm key travel, has Thunderbolt 4 Port (only for Intel Core i5 Version), High-speed Wi-Fi 6 (Only for Intel Core i5 Version), and has 2 HARMAN speakers, which enhances the overall audio-visual experience. Apart from that, the laptop features PC Connect feature that can cross-connect Windows and Android systems.

Apart from that, it comes with a 720p webcam and features cross-connect Windows and Android systems. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home (pre-loaded with Office 2019). That said, the realme Book Slim comes with a 54Wh large battery, which according to the company, can continuously play locally stored 1080p videos for 11 hours and also supports PD charging.
