After much of teasers, HMD Global has launched its latest budget Android One smartphone – Nokia 2.1 in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is the fact that it hits the lower-budget end users, powered by decent hardware and features dual rear cameras.

Nokia 2.3: Design And Display
The Nokia 2.3 features 3D nano-textured cover with dimensions: 157.69 x 75.41 x 8.68mm and weight: 183g. According to the company “Advanced structural engineering made it possible to integrate the dual camera and flash into the rear of the phone without a camera bump. Inner high-precision diecast aluminum chassis makes the structure solid and rigid protecting all the components inside.”
Coming to the display, the device packs in a 6.2-inch (720 x 1520 pixels) HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio 2.5D curved glass display. That said, the device comes in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal color options to choose from.
Nokia 2.3: Camera
The latest budget smartphone from Nokia sports dual rear cameras – a 13-megapixel rear camera with AI low-light feature, HDR, and a secondary 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera for Portrait Mode.
Furthermore, the phone comes with a ‘Recommended Shot’ feature that automatically captures alternate images before and after the shutter button is pressed and suggests the best one. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with support for Face Unlock.

Nokia 2.3: Performance
The Nokia 2.3 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 12nm SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM, paired with 32GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie (upgradable to Android 10) with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates promised.
Apart from that, the device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button, has dedicated dual SIM, and is backed by a 4000mAh battery that promises 2 days of battery life. Mind you, the Nokia 2.3 doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 2.3: Pricing And Availability
The Nokia 2.3 is priced at Rs. 8,199 and will be available from December 27th from nokia.com and authorized retail stores, Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, and MyG outlets across the country.
