realme launched its latest mid-range smartphone – realme X2 in India, after getting announced in China, a few months ago. The main highlights of this device are the mid-tier hardware, 64MP quad-camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging.

realme X2: Design And Display
realme X2 comes with a premium-looking design with a 3D glass design on the rear with a hyperbola light effect that disbands the light showing different patterns and colors. Not just that, the device has 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back which offers resistance against drops and scratches.
Coming to the display, the realme X2 packs in a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED dewdrop notch display with a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, 402ppi pixel density, 430 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As far as the color options go, the realme X2 is available in three colors: Pearl Green, Pearl White, and Pearl Blue.
realme X2: Camera
The X2 sports a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. It has an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the phone has a 32MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
The camera on the X2 features options like Super Nightscape, Panorama, Time Lapse, HDR, AI Scene Recognition, AI Beautification, EIS, and more. Furthermore, the phone has EIS support for video and speaking of video, the realme X2 supports 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30fps and 60fps, and 720p at 30fps and 60fps.

realme X2: Performance
Under the hood, the realme X2 is powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor, an 8nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, which is paired with the Adreno 618 GPU. The device offers RAM options 4GB / 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X, which is coupled with 64GB / 128GB storage expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card and runs on ColorOS 6.1 (based on Android 9.0 Pie).
Apart from that, the X2 is backed by a 4000mAh battery and supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 that promises to charge the battery up to 67% in 30 minutes and comes with USB Type-C port. That aside, the device comes with Double Anti-Lock Antenna (for better signals), Dolby Atmos Sound, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
realme X2: Pricing and Availability
The realme X2 is priced at Rs. 16999 for the 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version is priced at Rs. 18,999, and the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 19,999. The X2 will be available from Flipkart and realme.com (online) and offline stores starting from December 20th.
