Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has introduced its latest budget smartphone- Honor Play 8A in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is its waterdrop notch display with 87% screen-to-body ratio.

Honor Play 8A: The Budget Entrant!
The Play 8A packs in a 6-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, powered by MediaTek Helio P35, coupled with 3GB RAM, paired with 32GB / 64GB storage, runs on Android Pie and all these are backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Coming to the cameras, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, but comes with face unlock that can scan 1024 facial points. It comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots.

The Honor Play 8A comes in Blue, Red, Gold and Black colors and is priced at 799 Yuan (~US$ 116 / Rs. 8,155) for the 32GB storage version, while the 64GB storage version costs 999 Yuan (~US$ 145 / Rs. 10,195). It will go on sale in China starting from tomorrow, January 9th.
