Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 6 Pro, a successor to its Redmi Note 5 Pro, which was launched early this year. The major change from the predecessor is the 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio and dual front and rear camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro
The Redmi Note 6 Pro packs in a 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen with a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, powered by the (same old) Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, runs on Android Oreo and all these are backed by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Coming to the camera, the Note 6 Pro sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, a secondary 5-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture for better low-light images. At the front, it packs 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, a secondary 2-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture for portrait/bokeh shots and has AI face unlock.

The camera feature isn’t limited to the specs, the company has also included AI features like AI portrait and AI scene recognition. The rear camera can recognize scenes in 32 categories, including 5 which are India specific, and the front camera can detect 12 categories.
Furthermore, there is also newly adjustable bokeh, studio lighting with 6 effects that use AI semantic segmentation and also comes with light trails that comes with 6 dynamic bokeh effects. The front camera has 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology and also features face unlock.

It comes with a protective case in the box. It will go on sale starting from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home.
