After several leaks and rumours, OnePlus has officially introduced its new colour variant – OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple in China. It has a gradient finish on the back and has five different layers of frosted glass have been carefully applied to the device to create elegant look and feel.

OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Color Variant
Similar to the Midnight Black, this colour variant has a jagged texture that is etched onto the film to produce a subtle S-shaped line when the phone is reflected in the light. Well, apart from that, other specifications are similar including a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with an 86% screen-to-body ratio.
Furthermore, it is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, with up to 8GB RAM, dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel rear camera and 20-megapixel secondary camera, 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor on the front. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3700mAh battery.

The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple version comes only in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It is priced at 3599 yuan (~US$ 519 / Rs. 37,985) in China. The new color variant should roll out globally including India in the coming weeks.
