Razer Blade 2018 With 15.6-inch Display, Intel Core i7, And Nvidia Max-Q GPUs Launched

Razer has announced its latest gaming laptop; Razer Blade 2018. It is CNC milled from a single piece of aluminum and comes in a scratch-resistant anodized black finish. According to the company, the new Razer Blade 2018 is the world’s smallest 15.6-inch Gaming laptop.

Razer Blade 2018: The Middle-Of-The-Road Blade

The new Razer Blade 2018 comes is of 0.66-inches thin and packs in a 15.6-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 60Hz / 144Hz refresh rate. There is also an option to upgrade to a 4K panel with touch functionality and support for 100 percent Adobe RGB color.

It is powered by Intel latest eight-generation Core i7-8750H CPU processor with base clock frequency of 2.2GHz and turbo boost up to 4.1GHz, coupled with 16GB DDR4 RAM, up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage and runs on Windows 10. It also includes one Thunderbolt 3 port, three USB 3.1 port and Mini Display Port 1.4. The Blade 2018 relies on Razer’s Chroma keyboard with an anti-ghosting feature.

The laptop is based on NVIDIA’s Max-Q Design, which allows for thinner form factor with an option to choose between GeForce GTX 1060 or 1070 GPU. Moreover, it utilizes Razer-designed vapor chamber for colling instead of the traditional heat pipes found in most gaming laptops.

The Razer Blade laptop base variant with 15.6-inch Full HD 60Hz display starts at $1,899.99 (Rs. 1,29,138 approx.) While the same model with 144Hz display starts at $2,199.99 (Rs. 1,49,610 approx.). The Razer Blade laptop with 4K display costs $2,899.99 (1,97,213 approx.). The laptop will be available from select retailers in the US, Canada, France, the UK, Germany, and China.
