Xiaomi is no longer just a smartphone manufacturer. It offers a wide range of products including Mi TV, Mi Box, Mi Air Purifier, Mi Electric Fan, Mi smart lamps you name it. Well, last year Xiaomi introduced the Mi AI Speaker. Xiaomi is now getting serious with the virtual assistants. which resulted in Mi Mix 2S ships with inbuilt Xiao AI. So, here’s everything you need to know about the new assistant.

Xiao AI: The Hype!

Recently Xiaomi unveiled a video on its global YouTube channel (linked below). This video was more than enough, to showcase the powerful and useful features of Xiao AI. This assistant offers almost every single feature that you would find on other popular assistants like Google Assistant and Siri.

Well, what’s more? interestingly Xiaomi even came up with some usage predictions. According to Xiaomi, the Xiao AI in just eight months will be summoned 1.1 billion times, activated 11 million times daily. Since these are predictions nothing can be clearly specified as of now.

Xiao AI: The Good, The Bad

One of the major features of the Xiao AI will be its seamless integration with other Xiaomi devices. This includes all of the above-mentioned devices coupled with most of the smartphone lineup. You can even command these devices through the Xiao AI.

The bad thing about Xiao AI is the fact that we don’t need any other smart assistant. We are capable of performing almost every single task with the help of assistants, we already have. Copying a concept and making a new Assistant (which works exactly the same) doesn’t make any sense.
