Fitbit Versa
This is one of the lightest metal smartwatches, comes with a new dashboard with easy access to health and fitness data with Fitbit OS 2.0. This smartwatch (much like Fitbit Blaze) unlike Ionic, doesn’t include built-in GPS, boasts a four-day battery life instead of five and also stores around 300 songs or stream music from Pandora or Deezer.
Despite the $100 difference, most of the features from Ionic watch are on the Versa. It runs on pebble-inspired Fitbit OS, has heart rate monitor, waterproofed for swimming, onscreen workouts, and automatic sleep stages tracking and also offers wallet-free payments on Fitbit Versa Special Edition. It also comes preloaded with Fitbit Coach, offering a handful of guided exercise and routines. (A full version of Fitbit Coach costs $39.99/year).
What Does Fitbit OS 2.0 Offer?
- Stats at a glance: See your daily and weekly health and fitness stats, historical activity, heart rate, and exercise summaries, action-oriented motivational messages, tips and tricks, and daily guidance.
- More personalized over time: Reminders, celebrations, logging, insights, sleep summaries and social challenges, with prompts to take actions based on your data, coming later in 2018.
