Fitbit has announced its first smartwatch with heart rate sensor; Fitbit Ionic Fitness Smartwatch. Well, the Ionic does include a whole bunch of new features, which includes a new relative SpO2 sensor, GPS, on-device dynamic workouts and so on.

The Fitbit Ionic Fitness Smartwatch comes with a water resistance up to 50 meters, swim tracking, onboard music, contact-less payments with Fitbit Pay and can stay alive with 4 days of battery life.
In addition to that, Fitbit has also introduced new premium guidance and coaching paid offering that is designed to analyze Fitbit data and activity level to deliver custom workout programs and other tailored specific goals.

Fitbit has rebranded its Coach app as Fitstar Personal Trainer app, which combines popular dynamic video workouts with new Audio Coaching sessions (will be available in 2018). It will be available on Android, iOS and even on Windows devices, this Fall 2017 with an introductory pricing of $7.99 per month or $39.99 per year.
