LG V30 To Feature A 32-Bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC With Digital Filters

LG V30 is all set to unveil and the company has announced that V30 will feature 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P. This is not the first LG smartphone to feature this, LG V20 and G6 also featured a similar DAC.

LG V30 To Feature A 32-Bit Quad DAC

LG V30 will feature Hi-Fi Quad DAC with two new features: digital filters and sound preset. The original Hi-Fi Quad DAC indicated delivering Hi-Fi sound as close as possible to the original source by reducing distortion and white noise.

Further down, V30 offers four optimal pre-programmed settings: enhanced, detailed, live and bass. In addition to that, LG has managed to cut the distortion rate down to 0.0002 percent giving out high-quality audio experience to the users using any headset.

Down the lane, the HD Audio Recorder in the V30 can use the audio receiver of the phone simultaneously as a microphone. Basically, the RAM (Receiver-as-a-Mic or RAM) can record loud sounds clearly, so the LG V30 can record a wider dynamic range of sounds, from a whisper to a thunderstorm, without distortion.

To recap, V30 will be LG’s first device to sport its own OLED display with 18:9 FullVisiion display. In extension to that, it is said to come with a set of high-quality B&O PLAY earphones. The LG V30 will be announced in Berlin on August 31st, 2017 at 9:00 as CEST (i.e 12:30 PM IST).
