Samsung has finally unveiled; Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, after a long saga of rumors and leaks. The rugged smartphone from Samsung has a polycarbonate build and comes with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and MIL-STD 810G standard for durability.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
The Galaxy S8 Active features a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.
In addition to that, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active runs on Android Nougat, features a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera and all these are backed by a 4000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active comes in Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold and is priced at US$850 (Rs 54,190) from AT&T and will go up for pre-orders tomorrow. Customers can also purchase the device through offline stores from August 11 onwards.
