Samsung introduced Samsung Flow app in 2015, with features which are very similar to Apple’s Continuity for iOS and OS X Yosemite. Well, the app is finally adding support for Windows Hello feature of Windows 10, which will unlock its potential.

Samsung Flow Will Let You Unlock Your Windows 10 PCs
As promised, Samsung’s Flow app has enabled compatible Samsung smartphones with fingerprint sensors to unlock Windows 10 PCs. The company has also listed compatible devices on Google Play that supports Samsung Flow.
The compatible devices are Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and last but not least Galaxy Tab S3. Samsung added that Galaxy phones running on Android Marshmallow onwards and tablets running on Android Nougat onwards will be compatible.

Samsung Flow: Features Involved
In addition to unlocking feature, the app will also allow users to act upon their notifications right from their Windows 10 PC or tablet. Users can resume their browsing sessions from one device to another, which also means that it will be easy to transfer files between the devices.
Samsung Flow app uses Bluetooth to show the device’s availability and then makes use of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to allow communications between the devices. To have this app working on your PC, you need to install the app on the Windows 10 device (app can be found on the Windows Store).
