Facebook’s Find WiFi Feature Is Now Available Globally; Android And iOS

Facebook has rolled out Find WiFi feature globally for both Android and iOS. The social networking giant has been testing this feature from last year. Well, the time here.

Find WiFi Feature Is Now Available Globally

As the name suggests, Find WiFi feature lets you locate available WiFi hotspots nearby. Facebook has gathered the WiFi availability information from the businesses Facebook Page.

Well, it is pretty simple to spot WiFi hotspots near you. All you have to do is, open Facebook app, click on More, then turn on Find WiFi feature and then you can browse the closest available hotspots on the map.

This feature will be really useful for travelers (traveling internationally) and for those who are out of their mobile data and is in search of WiFi. Not to mention, you have to enable Location History. So, what you think about this feature? Let us know in the comment section below.

Facebook in a blog post said;

We launched Find Wi-Fi in a handful of countries last year and found it’s not only helpful for people who are traveling or on-the-go, but especially useful in areas where cellular data is scarce.
