InFocus To Launch A Phone For Rs 699 In July; Report

Foxconn licensed and American smartphone brand, InFocus is re-entering the Indian market after failing to make an impact in the Indian market in the last two years. Well, The American company is investing $10 million (about 65 crores) to make a comeback in the Indian market in its second innings.

InFocus Feature Phones For Rs 699 or US$11

InFocus is planning to launch around eight feature phones in the price range of Rs 699 (US$11) to Rs 1099 (US$17) starting July. The feature phone will come in three different display sizes i.e 1.8 inches, 2.4 inches and 2.8 inches.

These phones will, of course, be an entry level features phones and will not support 4G but the top end ones will support it. InFocus expects to sell 6 million phones in 2017 in India and claims that it has sold around 2 million smartphones in the country.

Piyush Puri, Vice President, Sales And Marketing, InFocus said to TMI;

We will be launching eight features phones in India, and cheapest one will be for Rs 699, and it will be available in 15,000 retailers pan India.
