Snapchat Lets You Share Your Location, Introduces Snap Maps [APK]

Snapchat announced its new location-sharing feature, dubbed Snap Maps, which lets users share their location with each other. If it turns out good, we can see Instagram copying this feature too.

When you share your current location with your friends, it will show up on the heat map, whenever your friends open Snapchat. This also means that your location updates whenever you use the app but you have the authority to stop the location sharing feature.

If your friends are sharing their location with you, you can their Actionmoji appearing on the map and yeah, it only updates when you open Snapchat. To access the Snap Map, all you have to do is pinch your home screen to zoom in.

As and when you enter “Ghost Mode”, Snapchat will stop collecting the precise location data. Snapchat has to keep up, as its competitor is gaining market and now has 250 million daily active users.
