Microsoft Unveils Dell And ASUS Windows Mixed Reality Headsets

Microsoft unveiled a range of Windows Mixed Reality headset at Computex in Taipei. The company has given out some more details about the Dell, ASUS and Lenovo devices. Apart from that the company also revealed that Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo will also make headsets for Windows Mixed Reality.

Dell And Asus Windows Mixed Reality Headsets

Dell is making a white headset, which is apparently designed by company’s XPS and Alienware teams and of course at a reasonable and affordable price point. Dell’s headset will include weight balanced headband, replaceable cushions, cable routing and a flip-up visor.

ASUS has the unique design out of all the devices announced yet. Asus has added a polygonal 3D cover panel to the front with six degrees of freedom tracking. This is will be made available later this year, whereas Dell Mixed Reality headset will be available this summer.

In addition to Dell and ASUS, Lenovo is also making Mixed Reality headset which according to Microsoft will be “incredibly affordable”. Lenovo’s headset will also include built-in sensors for inside-out tracking and a basic design front. This is will also debut later this year alongside Acer, HP, and Dell.
