Amazon Echo Show With 7-inch Touch Display Unveiled For USD 229.99

Amazon Echo Show was in rumors for a while now. Well, Amazon has broken the silence and announced its next generation smart speakers dubbed as Amazon Echo Show. It is a 7-inch touchscreen display which is powered by Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa.

The device has a 7-inch touchscreen display (as mentioned above) which is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor. It has the ability to make and receive video calls, thanks to its 5-megapixel camera. In addition to that, you can see lyrics-on-screen with Amazon Music, play song, artists or genre and even stream over Wi-Fi.

Apart from Amazon Music, you can also stream Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and more. The device comes with eight microphones, two speakers with Dolby support, beam-forming technology, and noise cancellation. Voice response from Alexa is enhanced with visuals and visibly optimized.

If you want to limit your interactions with Alexa, you can simply turn off the mic/camera button. You can also get the news with a video flash briefing and see your Prime Photos.

The Amazon Echo Show weighs around 1.17 grams with dimensions of 187 mm x 187 mm x 90 mm. The Amazon Echo Show comes in black and white versions. It will cost US$229.99 and is available for pre-orders starting from today. The device will start shipping from June 28.
