Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Will Have Dual Cameras: Wide-Angle & Telephoto

It is predicted that the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual camera setup. Well, Samsung has unveiled Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus last month at an event in New York. The smartphone has blown people’s mind with the features it offered (especially the Infinity Display).


KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has given very reliable predictions. So, it is worthy to check out what he has to say about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. He said that the late 2017 flagship from the company will have a dual-camera setup (which was absent in Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus).

He also predicted that the dual camera in the smartphone will be a combo of a wide angle camera and a 3X telephoto shooter. The wide angle camera will have a 12-megapixel sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus, while the telephoto camera will have a 13-megapixel sensor.

Both the camera will feature optical image stabilization (OIS). Kuo anticipates seeing a new camera in Note 8, which could beat the iPhone 7’s camera in terms of quality. The rest is as expected and rumored –  a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset (varying by region).
