YouTube TV Brings Live TV For $35 Per Month In Selected Cities; Worthy?

After a long halt, YouTube TV goes live in six cities in the US. Well, YouTube TV was originally announced back in February, it finally went live. Much like Netflix, it’s a streaming video service that delivers live TV from major broadcast networks.


YouTube has stepped up the game with this announcement, it covers all the major broadcast network such as ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC along with other popular cable networks.

Though YouTube TV covers all major broadcast networks but it doesn’t cover a lot of cities. Currently, the service covers six cities (Chicago, LA, NYC, Philadelphia and the San Franciso Bay Area) in the US. All you need to do is to pay $35 per month for the service and it gives you six different accounts for your household.

Yes, six, each one of those gets unlimited DVR storage in the cloud, DVR libraries, and recommendations individual for every account. It all works through a website for your computer and mobile app for Android and iOS. Chromecast support is also provided, so you can watch TV on your TV (sounds bit weird).

YouTube TV Offers!!

If you make up your mind for paying for the service, the first month of the service will be free and Google will send you a Chromecast with no additional cost. The Chromecast cost somewhere around $35, you can say the first two months of the YouTube TV is free. If you want Showtime, you will have to pay $11 more each month and $15 extra for Fox Soccer Plus. Yes, you can cancel the service anytime.
