Samsung has announced the DeX station at the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch at Galaxy Unpacked event 2017 in New York, last week. The Samsung DeX Station lets users transform the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones into a full-fledged Android PC.
Samsung DeX Station Priced Revealed
The Samsung DeX Station is priced at $149.99 (Rs 9,700 roughly). Samsung DeX Station features two USB-A 2.0 ports, a LAN Ethernet, an HDMI output and a USB-C charging port. So, when Samsung Galaxy S8/Galaxy S8+ docked into DeX, you can even charge Via USB-C port.
The DeX has an inbuilt fan to keep the devices cool. The Samsung DeX is only compatible with the new Galaxy S8 smartphones and comes only in black color variant. That being its drawback as the older Galaxy smartphones will not support the Samsung DeX station.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 smartphones starts at $750 (Rs 48,000 approx) and $850 (Rs 55,000 approx) respectively. Indian pricing has announced yet. Both the smartphone ships with Qualcomm’s latest chipset i.e Snapdragon 835 and the only difference is the screen and battery size.
Both features Bixby, a new artificial intelligence (AI) based voice-assistant, features exceptionally great display i.e 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches Super AMOLED 2K screen, runs on Android Nougat and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
