Xiaomi Redmi 4A With Snapdragon 425 Launched In India For Rs 5999

Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4A in India. Xiaomi has showcased the latest budget 4G smartphone at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 in Barcelona.


At the launch event, Xiaomi said that it has the second manufacturing plant in the country and in addition to that it said that more than 95% of Mi phones sold in India are Made in India. The company said that it has been able to create employment for more than 5,000 people and over 90% of the workforce are women.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A India Launch

The latest budget smartphone; Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with a unibody design with polycarbonate matte finish. It has a 5-inch HD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, paired with 2GB RAM, runs on MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is fueled by 3,120mAh battery. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A doesn’t support 4K video recording. The smartphone comes in Gray, Gold and Rose Gold colors, is priced at Rs 5999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in and Mi.com starting 23rd March. The Rose Gold version will be available from 6th April.
