YouTube has started giving people more accessibility to the creators, especially with the addition of few (thumbnail edits) features in the YouTube Creators app.

After a lot of minor leaks, the video social network revealed that mobile livestreaming will be available to every creator with more than 10,000 subscribers. Addition to this, it also promises that “the rest of you will have it soon”.

YouTube Mobile Livestreaming

It all started at the last year’s VidCon, where YouTube introduced the mobile livestreaming, though it wasn’t available to the public, but YouTube was testing with a selected group of partners (such as AIB, Alex Wassabi, The Young Turks, Platica, Polinesia, Sacconejoyls). Well, it seems that the mobile livestreaming supports 4K aswell.YouTube Livestream 1YouTube has speculated that hundreds of thousands of users will now have the ability to livestream and in addition to this creator can monetize their livestream but there are few conditions involved.

  1. The channel must have 1,000 subscribers.
  2. The creator must be over 18 years of age.
  3. The creator must reside in one of the supported locations.

The company wrote in a blog post:

A huge focus for us here at YouTube is to find new ways to let creators and viewers interact with each other and the videos they watch.

The best part of this mobile livestreaming feature is that it supports Super Chat, which basically gives a way for fans to pay to have their message highlighted and pinned to the chat window of a live video for up to five hours. Super Chat feature is available to creators in more than 20 countries and to the viewers in over 40 countries.

So? How To Use It?

You don’t need to download any other app, Creator Studio will work fine for livestream. To begin broadcasting, select the capture button and that’s it, you are set to go live. Don’t forget, this update (Creator Studio) will bring the same features as the regularly recorded videos.

There are many companies that have landed the footsteps in the livestream and has already taken over the social media by storm. But YouTube is never far away from userbase, so we expect it to grow rapidly and with ease, creators can convey and work on the livestream efficiently.
