Samsung Pay Mini Service Will Be Launched This Quarter: For All Devices

Samsung has officially confirmed that its striped down payment service i.e Samsung Pay Mini service. This service is expected to launch within this quarter. Yes, South Korea will be the first market where the service will be available.


The service will only available for Android-powered smartphones (even non-galaxy devices) at the launch (not on iOS). The service is expected to compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 Lollipop (or up) and at least an HD (1280×720) display.Well, the exact launch date is not yet revealed but the company has confirmed that a pre-launch trial will start from February 6 onwards, so that you can taste the demo version of the app.

Though there is not much of a difference between Samsung Pay and Pay Mini but the main difference is that Samsung Pay Mini is only capable of handling online payments (in-store as well). Pay Mini users can also access services like membership, lifestyle, and transportation.

There will many more features included in the final version or when it roll out. All we have to do is to wait until the global/public release.
