Google Gboard For Android Is Officially Live, Download Now

Google released Gboard for Android and its official. A few days ago, Gboard’s Apk surfaced on the internet.

After two small updates, Gboard for Android is now official, merely months after it was released in iOS. Fun fact, Gboard is actually the new name of Google Keyboard app for Android, so you don’t need to download any other app but to install the update of Google Keyboard.

What is Google Gboard?

Gboard is actual the mixture of Google Search and Google Keyboard, so named Gboard. Gboard as a support for writing in multiple languages at the same time, glide typing, voice typing and built-in emoji and GIF search.

Additionally, as promised you can Google search things like nearby stores or restaurants, images, news, weather, sports scores and so on. And if you found something useful, you can share the info onto your conversation as well and yeah, right from your Keyboard. As Gboard just launched, GIFs aren’t a lot, but the numbers will surely grow within next few weeks. Google said its Messenger, Allo, and Hangouts apps all have this functionality built-in already.

Best Part!

With time Gboard learns as you type, so you don’t have to manually add words to a personal dictionary and you will witness this feature as and when you use (I have experienced this). Addition to that the learned words can be synced across devices if you enable that feature in the app’s settings.

Much the old Keyboard, Gboard also has the one-handed mode for easy access on big screen phones, and there are quite a few themes available inside Gboard and matter of fact Gboard works in over 100 languages now, with more on the way.
