Xiaomi Mi Pad 3: Design, Specs, Pricing And Availability

Xiaomi’s continuous device push has brought the company to the one-year-old (over) Xiaomi Mi Pad 3.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is aging and Xiaomi has been rumored to show up the successor to the old Mi Pad 2. Well, Mi Pad 3 has been leaked today in China.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Design;

The Mi Pad 3 is rumored to be bigger than its ancestors, with a 9.7-inch screen and 2048×1536 pixels, which are almost the same size of Apple’s iPad 9.7 series. Well comparing to Apple’s iPad, Mi Pad 3 is almost thinner than Apple’s tablet, coming in at 6.08mm compared to 6.1mm.

Xiaomi’s tablet (rumored) weighs only 380g, which is 57g less than the iPad and despite, it manages to be shorter and narrower too, at 239.5×164.5mm, which is pretty amazing.

As per rumored pricing details, Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with 128GB Storage is expected to be priced at CNY 1,999 ($289 or €273), which roughly equals to INR 19,550 and CNY 2,299 or INR 22,500  ($332 or €314) for 256GB storage variant.

The keyboard dock will be sold separately for CNY 99 or approx INR 999 ($14 or €13). The keyboard body has a full metal build with dual speakers grills on the bottom with USB-C port. Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is rumored to launch on December 30.
