After the commercial release of Reliance Jio (4G service), things changed pretty rapidly . The company has managed to add record breaking 50 million subscribers in less than three months (precisely 83 days).
Way Back…
Reliance Jio began its commercial operations on September 5 with Welcome Offer valid December 31. Which dragged users from other operators, with users getting unlimited voice and video calls across India with unlimited high-speed 4G internet access (at first) later they added a 4GB daily cap, which after consumption cut down the speed to 128Kbps.
Along with free unlimited local and national SMS, users also get access to services like music streaming, movies and Live TV, cloud storage, magazines and more.
The speech from Ambani (expected) will contain the ongoing issues with other telecom operators, which include call drops, call failure and much-rumored extension of the welcome offer till March 2017.

Jio offered a lot in a user’s perspective, which in turn helped them grow fast. Rival carriers claimed that the Welcome Offer is foul as the offer was lasting more than 90 days. Jio revised the offer and added a dead end to the offer which is December 31.
Tariff Plans
TRAI has given Reliance Jio clean chit for free lifetime voice calls and users just have to pay for the data usage. Plans starts;
Call Drops?
As per recent data, 4.74 crore calls failed from Reliance Jio to Airtel network, more than 2.35 crore calls failed on Vodafone and over 1.41 crore calls failed on Idea network.
