Microsoft Surface Go 2 With 8th Gen Intel Core M3 Processor Announced

Along with Microsoft Surface Book 3, Microsoft launched the latest Surface Go 2, which comes after a long while. The laptop boasts the latest gen hardware and not just that, the company claims a 64% faster performance than the previous model.

The Microsoft Surface Go 2 packs in a larger 10.5-inch PixelSense display with 10-point multi-touch, 3:2 aspect ratio, Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. The base model is still powered by the Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4425Y, but now, the Surface Go 2 can be configured with the 8th Gen Intel Core m3 processor as well.

It is paired with (up to) 8GB RAM and (up to) 128GB SSD storage. In addition to that, it now also features Studio Mics (dual-microphone) for increased voice clarity and reduce background noise. Coming to the optics, it sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1080p, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Microsoft has added 2W stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio Premium.

The Surface Go 2 comes with the Surface Pen and users can also customize the Surface Go 2 with Type Covers, Sleeves and accessories in a variety of colors, including Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue, and the existing Surface Go Type Covers will work fine with the new model as well.
