Lenovo Phab 2 Pro went through a lot of talks and numerous delays along the way finally unveiled. Phab 2 Pro was expected to be released in the month of August but was bumped to September before it got November 1 as the release date.
What is Google Tango?
Tango (formerly named Project Tango in testing) is a technology platform developed and authored by Google that uses computer vision to enable mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to detect their position relative to the world around them without using GPS or other external signals.

Earlier Lenovo had announced that there will a Tango store launched prior or alongside Phab 2 Pro with almost 25 applications at the launch and over 100 by end of this year. But yesterday, Google announced via a blog that over 35 Tango apps have gone live on the Google Play Store with more on the way.

Phab 2 Pro has 4 cameras. 8MP front camera, 16MP rear RGB camera for a depth sensing infrared camera and a motion tracking camera. This is the essential requirement and this is what makes Project Tango work. The cameras can record 4K and as well as 360-degree video, which is first on any smartphone.
Pricing & Availability
As promised, the company has launched the smartphone in India. World’s first Google Project Tango smartphone has been launched for Rs 29,990 exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone is available only in Champagne Gold color in India.
