ASUS announced its slim and light laptops- ASUS VivoBook 14, 15, and 17 with four-sided frameless NanoEdge ultra-narrow-bezel displays for a near-borderless viewing experience. Along with these laptops, the Taiwanese giant also introduced Chromebook C434.
ASUS VivoBook 14, 15, And 17
The ASUS VivoBook 14 packs in a 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, powered by Intel Core i3-8145U with 4MB cache, boost the speed of up to 3.9GHz coupled with Intel UHD Graphics 620 and up to NVIDIA GeForce MX130 discrete graphics with 2GB VRAM. It packs up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB storage option.
Connectivity options include dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. It packs a 37Wh battery. The laptop measures 12.7″ x 8.4″ x 0.77″ and weighs 1.4Kgs. It runs on Windows 10 and packs a fingerprint sensor within the trackpad.

The Asus VivoBook 15 packs in a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, powered by Intel Core i5-8265U with 6MB cache, up to 3.9GHz boost speed. It is coupled with Intel UHD Graphics 620 and upto NVIDIA GeForce MX130 discrete graphics with 2GB VRAM. It packs up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB storage option.
Connectivity options include dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. It packs a 37Wh battery. The laptop measures 14.1″ x 9.1″ x 0.77″ and weighs 1.5Kgs. It runs on Windows 10. Ports on the device include USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, and USB 2.0, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader.
The ASUS VivoBook 17 packs in a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with 178° viewing angles and is powered by the Intel Core i7-8565U paired with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD with a 1TB / 2TB HDD storage.
Connectivity options include dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. It packs a 32Wh battery. The laptop measures 16″ x 10″ x 0.84″ and weighs 2.08Kgs. It runs on Windows 10. Ports on the device include USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, and USB 2.0, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader. It runs on Windows 10.

The Chromebook C434 sports a 14-inch LED-backlit IPS FHD (1920 x 1080) glossy screen with 5mm-thin bezel, powered by up to Intel Core i7-8500Y with a 1.5GHz processor, 4MB cache, and up to 4.2GHz boost speed coupled with Intel HD Graphics 615. It packs up to 8GB LPDDR3 1867MHz RAM and up to 128GB eMMC storage.
Connectivity features include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. It runs on Google Chrome OS, and is also Android-ready, meaning you can install Android apps and run them. It packs a 48Wh lithium-polymer battery. It measures 12.6″ x 8″ x 0.6″ and weighs 1.45kgs. The new VivoBooks will be available in early 2019. The company says that the pricing and availability will be announced closer to launch.
