Mozilla Announces First Firefox Mobile Test Pilot With Lockbox And Notes!

Mozilla earlier announced the Test Pilot Program for Firefox. This program is dedicated to testing out some new experimental features for the Firefox web-browser. Well, now the company has launched Lockbox a password manager for ios and a Note app for Android. So here’s everything you need to know about the new apps

Test Pilot Program: Firefox Lockbox

The first application on the list is an all-in-one password manager known as Firefox Lockbox. This application is presently available only for ios and helps improve both privacy and security. Well, the passwords you saved on the browser can be used to log-in on smartphone applications like Twitter and Instagram. These passwords are secured either by FaceID or TouchID based on users preference.

Test Pilot Program: Notes By Firefox

Notes By Firefox does exactly as the name suggests. The application helps users to take notes or thoughts that strike his mind while browsing the Internet. Furthermore, the application is synced to the Firefox browser. According to Mozilla, all the files are encrypted from end-to-end.

The major highlight of these applications is that these standalone applications sync with Firefox on both desktop and mobile. Hence, if you are a Firefox user you will find these new applications to be helpful and seamless. We can expect some more nifty launches by FireFox.
