Here’s How To Unlock The Hidden Easter Eggs In Android Messages

Most smartphone messaging applications have some hidden commands that are used to envoke different emojis or font styles. Well, this time around its the official Android Messages. So here’s how to unlock easter eggs or the kaomoji i.e. Japanese emoticons that look a little like this: ٩(ఠ益ఠ)۶.

Execute Kaomoji On Android Messenger

Most of these kaomoji are inherited from Hangouts. Even though not all easter eggs from hangouts were working in Android Messenger. These easter eggs were initially discovered by a Reddit user in r/Android subreddit.

To execute these commands on Android Messages, just type a forward slash and then the word you want to use. It is worth noting that these only work in the starting of the message.

Here are some that we were able to create using the shortcuts;

  • /sunglasses or /dealwithit — ( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
  • /tableflip — (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

  • /that — (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
  • /this — ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
  • /wizard — (∩ ` -´)⊃━━☆゚.*・。゚
  • /yuno — ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
  • /success — (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
  • /happy — ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
  • /facepalm— (-‸ლ)
  • /disapprove — ಠ_ಠ
