After a long saga of rumors and leaks, OnePlus has finally unveiled its latest flagship – OnePlus 6 at an event in London, and with no delay, the company has launched it in India today. The main highlight of the OP 6 is its improved design (notch included) and camera.

OnePlus 6: The Flagship

The latest iteration of OnePlus packs in a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB / 8GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage, runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (will get Android P beta starting this week) and all these are backed by 3300mAh battery.

Coming to the camera, the sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS as well as EIS and (the same old) 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor and f/1.7 aperture. At the front, it has 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor same as OnePlus 5T.

Few Noticeable Changes

  • It’s the first ever OnePlus flagship smartphone to have a glass back.
  • Induction of notch to the display, in turn, increasing screen real-estate.
  • Change in shape of the fingerprint sensor. It is now in oval shape.
  • The (retained) alert slider is now on the right side (not on the left).
  • Retains the 3.5mm standard audio jack.
