Well, yesterday Honor introduced it’s latest offering the Honor 10. Both these smartphones are available in the similar price brackets. OnePlus 6 offers a premium looking glass and aluminum build. The phone looks and feels excellent in hands. OnePlus 6 has vertical dual camera setup with fingerprint sensor below it. Lastly, OnePlus 6 also features an iPhone X inspired notch with the ability to hide the notch within the OxygenOS. OnePlus 6 offers a pleasing 6.28 inches Optic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio. The glass is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Honor 10 offers probably the best design ergonomics in the smartphone industry. The smartphone has glass on both back and front with a well-constructed aluminum frame. The 15 layer 3D glass panel on the rear side of the phone shows pleasing colors when the phone is held at different angles. Honor 10 easily stands out when it comes to overall design language. The display on the Honor 10 is impressive as well. You get a 5.84 inches IPS LED panel with the same resolution, i.e. 1080 x 2280 as on the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6 is powered by the Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The processor on OnePlus 6 is potent and highly efficient. You won’t notice any performance issue, thanks to the improved optimization with Oxygen OS.

On the other hand, you get a Hisilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 on the Honor 10. The processing power of Honor 10 is impressive, and you won’t find any issue with regular day-to-day tasks. Lastly, if performance is your priority then definitely go with the OnePlus 6.

Honor 10 runs on EMUI 8.1 on top of Android. The skin consumes a considerable amount of resources, but it offers additional features. EMUI 8.1 also provides a decent amount of customization. If bloated animations and icons don’t annoy, you will enjoy the Honor 10.

OnePlus 6 is available in 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage variants and 6GB / 8GB RAM variants. While, you can get the Honor 10 in 64GB /128GB storage and 4GB / 6GB RAM. The OnePlus 6 will be available for a price point of around USD 529 (INR 35,825 approx), USD 579 (INR 39,210 approx) and USD 629 (INR 42,600 approx) based on the RAM and storage variant you choose.

While Honor 10 is comparatively cheaper than the OnePlus 6; it costs around Rs. 32,999. Both these phones will be available in India from the last week of May.

As a conclusion, you can opt for OnePlus 6 if performance, nearly stock Android UI and good battery life with fast-charging are on top of priority list.
