Xiaomi announced lightning fast MIUI 9 Global ROM back in November 2017 with some fresh new changes, which included Split Screen, UI changes, New Gallery App, App Vault, MI Drop and so on, but Notification Shade couldn’t make its way.

Xiaomi MIUI 9.5 ROM
Well, if you’re still struggling with expanding notifications with two finger swipe down, there is good news for you. Xiaomi has finally started rolling out New Notification Share feature with MIUI 9.5 Stable ROM.

The company has already started rolling out MIUI 9.5.4.0. If you are a Redmi Note 4 users, February security patch includes this update. Apart from that, there are few more features that Xiaomi has included in MIUI 9.5.

Features Included In Xiaomi MIUI 9.5 ROM
- Quick Reply: As mentioned, now you have an option to swipe down with two fingers and read the notification and act accordingly.
- New Ringtones, Charging Sound, Lock/Unlock Sound.
- Included/Updated Apps: Xiaomi has brought an updated version of the Weather and roaming app.
- Improved battery life and RAM management.

Do note, this is a Nightly build, Xiaomi releases Stable Nightly updates to random users to get feedback and the same update later get rolled out to all users. MIUI 9.5 is expected to roll out for the majority of Xiaomi devices but only devices running Android 7.0 Nougat or above. Stay tuned for more updates.
