OnePlus 5T Launched: Specs, Features, Pricing And Availability

OnePlus has just introduced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone at an event in Brooklyn. The latest edition of 5T brings in a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5% screen-to-body ratio with DCI-P3 color coverage.

OnePlus 5T: Minor Changes? Added Features!

The smartphone features an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design. Apart from the change in the display, the body of the smartphone is almost same. Other minor changes include a change in fingerprint sensor position, which has been moved to the back and unlocks the phone in 0.2 seconds.

Adding similarity to OnePlus 5, the 5T has the same 16-megapixel primary rear camera with wide-angle lens and large f/1.7 aperture, but the change here is that the telephoto lens (on OnePlus 5) has been replaced by a 20-megapixel sensor with a f/1.7 aperture for better low-light photography and improved depth-of-field.

The front-facing camera is of 16-megapixel, which is same as OnePlus 5, but the change here is that it has new face recognition feature to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. In addition to that, Oxygen OS 4.7 brings in features like Parallel Apps, Gallery Map, and several customizations.

OnePlus 5T: Pricing And Availability 

The OnePlus 5T comes in Midnight Black color and is priced at Rs 32,999 (US$499) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs Rs 37,999 (US$559) same as the predecessor.

It will be available from Amazon.in starting from November 21st 4.30PM for Prime customers, OnePlus India and OnePlus experience store in Bangalore as part of an early sale. It will be available on an open sale from OnePlus India Online Store, Amazon.in as well as OnePlus Experience Stores from November 28th.
