Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 With Helio P25 SoC, Dual Rear Cameras Leaked

Xiaomi is reportedly working on; Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, the successor of its best-selling smartphone in India. According to Xiaomi’s schedule, the company will be launching the Redmi Note 5 in early 2018 with incremental upgrades over the Redmi Note 4.

The main highlight of this smartphone will be its dual rear camera setup. Coming to specifications which were posted on Chinese website Weibo (spotted by TechPP), the Redmi Note 5 will come with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) display, powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P25 processor.

It will be fueled by 3GB / 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB non-expandable storage. It will sport 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera and 12-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The Note 5 will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 and will be backed by 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 5 will be priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs 9,800 or US$) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and between CNY 1,299 – CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 12,800 – Rs 16,700 or US$197 – US$260) for the 4GB RAM + 32GB storage. Stay tuned for more updates.
