Xiaomi is reportedly working on; Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, the successor of its best-selling smartphone in India. According to Xiaomi’s schedule, the company will be launching the Redmi Note 5 in early 2018 with incremental upgrades over the Redmi Note 4.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
The main highlight of this smartphone will be its dual rear camera setup. Coming to specifications which were posted on Chinese website Weibo (spotted by TechPP), the Redmi Note 5 will come with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) display, powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P25 processor.
It will be fueled by 3GB / 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB non-expandable storage. It will sport 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera and 12-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The Note 5 will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 and will be backed by 4,000mAh battery.
