Google’s Experimental Triangle App Aims To Keep The Data Usage Low

Data is still something mobile users care about, especially when most parts of the world still holds the term data caps. Well, Google is making it easier with something called Triangle app, that can blocks apps from using your mobile data and lets you earn bonus data.

Triangle App Saves Your Mobile Data

Triangle app shows you which apps have been using your data and lets you block them from using any more. The logic behind the app is pretty old is already available on all Android smartphones, but you have to spare some time to dig in your data usage settings.But the twist here is, Triangle app makes it easier to find the apps that consuming a huge amount of data and if you stopped yourself from using the app (blocking it from using), Google will give you data incentives, which are currently limited to Globe and Smart prepaid customers.

You can let apps use data for a set length of time before going back to zero usage. In addition to that, Triangle will also grant you some extra data for using and installing certain apps.Triangle AppAlthough the data incentives are not huge in amount – the screenshots show 10 or 15MB per action.
