Amazon is bringing its voice assistant Alexa to its main shopping app in iOS. So, now iPhone users can now talk to Alexa while using the Amazon app.

It’s a pretty big upgrade and Alexa is not losing its core functionality but it will help you shop and you can tell it to play some music. It can access your books in your Kindle library, in addition to that it can also access Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music and purchased songs.
It is pretty easy to activate Alexa, all you got to do is to tap on the mic icon in the search bar and ask for the query. You can make use of the voice assistant while searching for a specific product, to add the product on the cart, track packages, reorder products and so on. The features will begin rolling out today and should be available to all US users by next week.
