Xiaomi Mi 6 With Snapdragon 835 SoC, Launching On April 16; Rumors

Xiaomi has put up a lot of smartphones in the market. Recently at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Xiaomi has launched two of its smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and Redmi 4X. Addition to that much rumored Mi 5C was also revealed with company’s first in-house ‘Surge S1‘ processor.



Well, coming back to Mi6 is the upcoming flagship from the company. Yup, this smartphone has taken over Mi 5C in rumors and leaks. Expectations from this smartphone are very high, especially after released of smartphones like Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi MIX.

Though it was speculated that Xiaomi will unveil the smartphone at MWC 2017, but Xiaomi has completely denied the news. Not to forget, when it comes to Xiaomi, live images, leaks, and rumors are very common. So, according to a Chinese report, Xiaomi will officially release Mi 6 on April 16.

The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset (not it’s own processor?). The report further mentions that the smartphone will feature 5.2-inch LCD display with 2.5 curved glass. There is also a rumor that Mi 6 will have three variants, one of the variants will come with a ceramic body like Mi Note 2.

The pricing of Xiaomi Mi 6 has also been rumored a lot, it is reported to start at CNY 1,999 (Rs 19,400 / US$290 approx) and the premium/high-end (ceramic) variant is said to be priced at CNY 2,500 ( Rs 24,200 / US$365 roughly).
