Xiaomi has been aggressive pushing out devices, smartphones and so on. In the 21st century, where are stress and sleep disorders are common among people, Xiaomi has tapped this exact issue and brought up their new device.
Specifications
Lunar smart sleep sensor has set of speakers called Internet Speaker, the speaker is awkwardly named because it can play music directly from the internet, it can be operated via Mi Home App. It comes with an Amlogc 8726M3 Cortex A9 processor, which is paired with an 8GB built-in storage. The speakers allow storing songs in the speakers itself. It supports a USB 2.0 port and AUX cable.

How does It work?
As the name suggests, the device intelligently analyzes a user’s sleep duration, quality and sends out periodic sleep reports to the mobile app. This device/sensor needs to be kept on or inside a pillow, which in turn tracks your sleep. The app works on Android phones running Android 4.0 and higher, and on iPhones running iOS 8.0 and higher.

As interesting as the device looks and sounds, it has some amazing features too. The device comes with a Triple sound button, which plays soothing music to help a user to fall asleep, which comes from the company’s database of over 20 million songs. Apparently, the Internet Speaker can also access 200,000 storytelling stations and a database of 120 million audiobooks.

Battery, Pricing, and Availability
The Luna Smart Sleep sensor can run for 90 days on a single one-hour long charge. The battery has a 50K hours durability. The Lunar sleep sensor costs RMB 69, which roughly equals Rs 700, and it is already listed on the crowdfunding platform. The device is expected to ship on January 12, 2017.
